Pop-up: Field Of Ponies

3 Oct 18

Tell us about who you are and what you do?

We are Field of Ponies, an independent London-based label using current street wear trends to project a post-apocalyptic aesthetic. Traditional craft techniques such as quilting, hand stitching and appliqué feature heavily in our collections. Field of Ponies interprets clothing as a raw, primitive and available method of self-expression, a new punk form for the new generation.

Which song best sums up your brand?

Can’t pick one but in the past few months we have worked with artists such as Bexey, Ho99o9 and DeathbyRomy.

What can we expect from your stay at BOXPARK?

Our usual handcrafted street wear staples like hoodies and sweatpants, all in very limited quantities of 1-3 per style. For BOXPARK, we are dropping new pieces and a display around the theme of Halloween, since a lot of the brand’s aesthetic is based around monstrous faces and a dishevelled look.

Which piece from your current collection is your favourite?

I love the plaid “feral” curtain top that can be worn down like a loose t-shirt or raised up as a cropped top. Works for boys and girls.

What’s the best reason to come to Shoreditch for a shopping spree?

The best brands and independent shops are based around Shoreditch. Also – lots of good places to eat and drink, and awesome street art and architecture from different eras.

What’s your top Shoreditch tip?

Remember to go back home at some point…
