Hunger Magazine Pop-Up @BOXPARK

Shoreditch

8 Nov 17

We've got bi-annual magazine style & culture magazine 'Hunger' next up in our unit 26 pop-up with some exciting stuff. We'll leave it to them to fill you in on what to expect:

Tell us about who you are and what you do?

Hunger is a biannual style and culture magazine founded by the photographer Rankin. Each issue is almost 500 pages of breath taking visuals and in-depth interviews across fashion, photography, music, film, beauty and art.

Which song best sums up your brand?

Sexy Motherf****r by Prince ;)

What can we expect from your stay at BOXPARK?

Our pop up will be a real life place where you can buy Hunger magazine and the only place you can buy all our rare back issues, along with exclusive signed photo books from Rankin and books that are out of print. Scour the internet as much as you like, you literally can’t find these anywhere else. We’ll also have a selection of exclusive Hunger posters, celebrating some of our favourite ever shots from the magazine.

Which piece from your current collection is your favourite?

Well our current collection is our new issue, Mad World, which is issue 13 of Hunger magazine. We’re hard pushed to choose a favourite cover though between Elizabeth Olsen, Dakota Fanning, Chadwick Boseman and our conceptual Mad World cover. You’ll just have to come to our pop up and help us decide…

What’s the best reason to come to Shoreditch for a shopping spree?

You’ll always find something unique that you can’t find elsewhere. The weird, the wonderful and the wild. Plus who wants to fight through the crowds on Oxford Street?

What’s your top Shoreditch tip?

Scouring vintage clothes and furniture shops in and around Brick Lane early on a Saturday morning before anyone else gets there.

What does the future hold for your brand?

We’ll be getting bigger and better, with more events to connect with readers across our fashion, music, photography and art platforms. Watch this space.

You can catch Hunger Magazine's pop-up from Tuesday 14th - Sunday 19th November in unit 26 of BOXPARK Shoreditch!
