Jollie’s Socks @BOXPARK Shoreditch 01/11-06/11/16

28 Oct 16

Next up to take residency in our unit 26 pop up unit is sock-brand Jollie’s Socks. We caught up with their team to find out what to  expect from their stay here @BOXPARK:

Tell us about who you are and what you do?

We’re Jollie’s. We describe ourselves as a more-than-profit company passionate about creating purposeful products that support our customer’s local homeless charity. We’ve started with Jollie socks, which for every pair bought we give hardy hiking socks to homeless charities local to our customers. We kicked off with this product after seeing the serious demand there was for fresh pairs of socks in the homeless charities we were connected to.

Which song best sums up your brand?

A healthy balance between of Mumford and Sons little Lion Man, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake and Stormzy’s Shut Up.

What can we expect from your stay at BOXPARK?

Please assume large amounts of Jollieness and expect the launch of some brand new designs alongside the release of our Pick and Mix multi pack.  We will also be making some serious noise about St Mungo’s a project

Which piece from your current collection is your favourite?

The Orange Twister’s. Not for the faint footed.

What’s the best reason to come to Shoreditch for a shopping spree?

Come for a quality over quantity shopping experience. Shoreditch seems to have done the hard work for you when it comes to finding the best quality brands and unique product offering. I like to think BOXPARK leads the way on this one!

What’s your top Shoreditch tip?

Follow no other fashion rules other than rocking a pair of Jollie’s.

What does the future hold for your brand?

We’re passionate about making sure each one of our products has a real purpose.  We’ve started with socks because of the need there is for sock donations. There are unfortunately many other tangible needs homeless charities have so please expect some different products from us soon, each with their own specific purpose and way of supporting local homeless charities. So watch out!

You can catch the Jollie’s Socks from Tuesday 1st November until Sunday 6th November 2016 in unit 26 of BOXPARK.
