Wax + Wick Pop-Up @BOXPARK Shoreditch

22 Mar 17

We smell a sweet aroma coming from our unit 26 pop-up, that must mean candle brand 'Wax + Wick' has arrived! We caught up with their team for more insight in to the brand and their upcoming residency here @BOXPARK Shoreditch:

Tell us about who you are and what you do?

Wax and Wick creates handmade candles made from repurposed wine bottles. The idea was created from the love of simple design and natural living. The idea came from reminiscing about our childhood memories with our families in the living room, creating makeshift forts with blankets, telling fairytale stories - being surrounded by candles. We believe less is more whether that’s from brand design to the ingredients we use.

Which song best sums up your brand?

On My Way - The Melodic .... upbeat yet relaxed

What can we expect from your stay at BOXPARK?

You can expect a shopping experience done a bit differently to what you might be used to. We want to create a space where you feel at home, taking your time to choose the product that fits you best and knowing exactly what’s in it and where it’s come from.

Which piece from your current collection is your favourite?

Our Green Tea and Almond candle has to be our favourite right now. As we’re approaching spring, this scent is super light with an undertone of fresh mint topped with almond and sweet flowers.

What’s the best reason to come to Shoreditch for a shopping spree?

To come and support all the amazing local brands Shoreditch has to offer... oh and for amazing brunch spots!

What’s your top Shoreditch tip?

Definitely our tip is to never plan anything! Walking around randomly, you’ll find the most exciting little coffee shops and the best independent shops that you could spend all day in!

What does the future hold for your brand?

Our absolute dream is to have our own permanent shop and for us to keep doing what we love doing best.

You can catch Wax + Wick's pop-up from Tuesday 28th March - Sunday 2nd April in unit 26 here @BOXPARK Shoreditch!
